The Residential Life Student Staff positions are of great importance for the our office as they are the face and voice of the department. As such, all Residential Life Staff members must be committed to the mission of the office, which is to foster and inspire strong, inclusive communities; encourage and support students in their academic, social, and personal growth; help students develop skills to succeed in a diverse, global society; and promote the appreciation of diversity.
Only current ResLife staff members may apply to be a Residence Coordinator (RC). Students that have lived on campus for at least one academic year by the start date are eligible to apply to be a Resident Assistant (RA).

Spring Timeline for 2025-2026 student stafff:
- January 24: Application opens for RA position.
- February 9: Application closes
- February 17-28: RA Interviews
- 3/3-3/5: Second Round Interviews (as needed)
- Spring Break: offers will be sent to Conn email address
Application process:
To apply, fill out the Student Staff Application in Handshake and Google. The Handshake portion requires a resume. Please connect with the Hale Center if you need assitance in creating your resume.
