102 named to NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team

An All-American soccer player and nine women’s volleyball players—100% of the eligible members of the team—are among the 102 Connecticut College student-athletes named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2023 Fall All-Academic Team. 

The list also includes eight student-athletes—Marco Cerezo ’24, Jake Creus ’24, Abigail Fernald ’26, Mya Johnson ’24, Bridget McGann ’26, Clare Mulvihill ’25, Matt Scoffone ’24 and Peter Silvester ’25—who earned All-NESCAC accolades, and five more— Nicholas DeMarco ’26, Alessandro Horvath Diano ’24, Emma Pyles ’24, Natasha Shrivastava ’24 and Chloe Therrien ’25—who were recognized for sportsmanship.

To be honored on the All-Academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at an institution.
