Launch of Campus Master Plan Website and Upcoming Projects

Dear Members of the Connecticut College Community,

I write to provide an update on the latest developments of the Campus Master Plan, which provides a vision and overview of planned and potential projects over the next 20 years. We have launched a new website that includes details about the principal projects in the Campus Master Plan in the areas of academics, student life, athletics, sustainability and infrastructure improvements. We will be updating the site regularly to keep the campus community informed.

I am also pleased to announce that the College will be partnering with Ennead Architects on the Palmer Auditorium and Castle Court renovation projects. Over the next several months, Ennead will be meeting with students, faculty and staff to gather input. Please look for additional announcements about opportunities to provide your ideas and suggestions on this important project.

Other upcoming projects include relocation of the Office of Career and Professional Development to the first floor of Fanning Hall. Opportunities for the community to provide input on this project will be provided later this month. Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Rich Madonna
Vice President for Finance and Administration
